Job Purpose

To lead and manage the Center for Community Based and Nonprofit Organizations (CCBNO).

Description of Duties and Tasks

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Identifies, develops, implements, and evaluates program services to increase nonprofit sector participation.
  2. Serves as key source of information and referral regarding nonprofit governance, leadership, and management for both the College and external customers.
  3. Leads and manages the Center for Community-Based and Nonprofit Organizations consulting services and collaborative opportunities with individuals, corporate, governmental, and nonprofit sectors.
  4. Designs, plans, and implements strategic initiatives for communicating programs and services through the Center's website, publications, listserv, and other media.
  5. Identifies, schedules, and provides learning opportunities such as workshops and other events and programs.
  6. Supervises and evaluates Center customer services for learning opportunities (workshops) session leaders.
  7. Assists ACC faculty, staff, and administration in relating to, working with, and establishing productive relationships within the Nonprofit Sector.
  8. Represents the College to a variety of councils, committees, and agencies.
