Course Requirements
Exams
There will be four exams: the first three in the Pinnacle Testing Center and the fourth one in class.
Some exams may have two parts: one with calculators, one without. Any scientific calculator is fine. If you want to use a graphing one - it will have to be checked out from the Testing Center.
Exam corrections will be allowed for the first three tests.

Quizzes
There will be up to 8 in-class quizzes based on homework and class work.
Homework
You will receive a list of suggested homework exercises. You should do them all and keep them in a folder. You may be able to use them during some of the in class quizzes.
Assignments
There will be four graded assignments. You need to show all work clearly to receive credit.

- Purchase the required textbook alone, either used or new, from a local bookstore.

Student Learning Outcomes/Learning Objectives
- Compute the values of the six trigonometric functions for key angles measured in both degrees and radians.
- Graph all six trigonometric functions and their transformations.
- Use the basic trigonometric identities to verify other trigonometric identities.
- Solve trigonometric equations.
- Solve right and oblique triangles.
- Plot points and graph equations in the Polar Coordinate system.
- Graph pairs of parametric equations.
- Use the concepts of trigonometry to solve applied problems.
